Gaino had planned to give Jacob an opportunity to say his last words. After using his immense power to force Jacob to his knees, Gaino pointed the Ki Scythe in his hand at him and said, "Do you have any last words?"

Perhaps the high-and-mighty Demon King Jacob had never knelt before. This was the first time he had fallen to his knees before an enemy, and he felt utterly humiliated. So, he pretended to humble himself and beg for mercy. Yet his hands were constantly making shady little movements.

At that moment, Jacob suddenly sprang up and charged at Gaino. Seeing that Jacob refused to repent even at death's door, Gaino swung the Ki Scythe in his hand. After a flash of red light, Jacob's head fell to the ground.

Jacob had never expected Gaino to see through his sudden attack so early. Even until his death, he could not understand how Gaino had noticed something was off about him.

The head on the ground stared wide-eyed, as though it had died with its eyes open. Gaino looked at Jacob's head and said, "I gave you a chance. Too bad you were useless!"

After saying that, Blood Annihilation Power surged in Gaino's hand. With a sweep of his arm, the energy in his hand instantly shot toward Jacob's body and head. In the blink of an eye, Demon King Jacob, who had ruled the Death Wasteland for decades, was reduced to ashes.

After dealing with Jacob, Gaino used Instant Transmission and vanished from Wild Wolf Valley.
