As inconspicuous gunshots rang out between the buildings, the Ford stopped at the light still failed to move when the next red light came on. The Dodge driver behind it cursed and honked repeatedly, then impatiently drove around it and flipped off the gray Ford. But not everyone was so irritable. One kind-hearted person got out of his car, flashlight in hand, intending to see whether the Ford's owner needed help. Yet no matter how he knocked on the window, the owner refused to open it, and the dim lighting made it impossible to see through the dark tint.

The kind-hearted man could only walk around to the front of the car, but the sight before him made him stagger back in horror. He pulled out his phone and shouted for the police. There was a large hole in the windshield, with crimson viscous fluid splattered across the cracked glass. Through the pale fractures, he vaguely saw the suited driver's chest caved in and his head hanging low, the seat belt barely keeping the corpse from slumping onto the steering wheel.

Then gunfire erupted in rapid succession, and the pedestrians finally realized what was happening and scattered in panic.

There was even a deep crater in the rear seat, with crimson sticky matter and chunks of indiscernible color scattered throughout the backseat.

Clearly, this was an indiscriminate shooting. The attacker had used a large-caliber rifle.
