Aura leaped over the molten serrations that had once been an airtight door, over orange-red spacesuits and the grotesque limbs wrapped within them, over bomb craters flooded with pus and blood like lakes. Like a ferocious leopardess, she pursued the assault force ahead through the intricate, pitch-black corridors. Several girls followed behind her, likewise armed with heavy melta weapons and combat knives, all thrilled by this mission. Chaotic footsteps passed around the corner, and warm golden radiance illuminated the vast unmanned area. Aura knew she had caught up.
"Breach the door." Derrick Xian gave the order calmly. Aura and two other Artificial Humans immediately passed through the gap opened in the Sacred Guard's formation. The other Artificial Humans and girls stood with their backs to the Sacred Guard's protective formation, their eyes fixed on the area behind them that could not be illuminated by the Emperor's radiance. Derrick Xian and the other Praetorian Guard had no objection to this. "How long?"

He immediately directed another Praetorian Guard over the Communication Channel to fire with him at the now-molten airtight door. "The Second Combat Group has set out.
