Mordo sank his mind into the Sea of Aether, reciting the inner spirituality of the Hermes Script to drive away the irritability constantly breeding within him.
"Mordo, your spell isn't working at all." Master Daniel stood beside him, his wrinkled face—so aged that no trace remained of his white and Native American mixed heritage—filled with indifference. "I don't know why you added that spell to the Mirror Dimension, but it can't trap the intruder."
"That was a spell The Venerable One personally gave me, Master Daniel."
Mordo closed his eyes and recited the threefold great wisdom to steady his mind.
He looked down at the courtyard below. Though he could not make out what was happening within, the blood-red spiritual aura rising into the sky told him that many Arcanists had met violent deaths. Despair and pain ignited the dense Aether in the air, agitating every Arcanist's mind. The Emperor made no attempt to conceal his intentions. Mordo saw Dignity's majestic Aether radiance trigger a series of supernatural phenomena in the sky. The blood-red aura was driven away, and despair and pain melted away. Only Psionics could see this phenomenon. Mortals could only see the dark clouds scattered from the sky, the blizzard abruptly cease, and sunlight spill across the earth.
"The Vampires of Transylvania are watching us like hawks. The batch of Vampires we killed not long ago were Dracula's blood descendants," Master Daniel said. "But I never expected you to think he was colluding with the Vampires. What has clouded your judgment, Baron Mordo? Do you have any idea how many Vampires he has killed?"
"That only proves that the Belmont Family did not join him in rebellion."
"Am I unable to persuade you, Baron Mordo?" Master Daniel sighed. He found a stone block and sat down, unconcerned
