Half a year was enough for many things to happen.

For instance, Mad Nun Gabby's child was born. The Demonkin child was locked in the City of Immortals' arcane dungeon the moment it was born, kept under strict control through cameras and Machine Gun Turrets. No one could approach the child without approval. Even when Gabby's maternal instincts drove her to nurse it, she was denied. Anna, whose due date had been estimated, called Salomon during that period and asked to see the child, but Salomon refused on the grounds that "the danger has not yet been ruled out."

Anna's devil bloodline was slowly awakening. As the daughter of the foremost Demon Pillar, she possessed tremendous potential. The moment she fully matured would be Salomon's opportunity to strike at Marduk. As for the child born by that mad nun, it was another dagger aimed at Marduk—Anna's backup.

There was also the conflict between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk.

Although Athena's close friend was involved, Salomon showed no courtesy to Vanessa's boyfriend when dealing with a crime boss who wasted human resources. As expected, the Sisterhood ran into Attorney Murdock during a mission. Their differing goals and methods led to a fight. The Sisterhood was not a band of undisciplined street heroes; even when their mission was obstructed, they could still accomplish their original objective. For a time, every gang in New York believed that the hurricane which had once swept through the city's underworld had returned. Countless gangsters were blasted into mangled flesh, and Hell's Kitchen ran red with blood.

If Vanessa had not been poisoned at a charity dinner hosted by Fisk, also known as Kingpin, and if Athena and Salomon had not happened to be present, the crime boss would never have had a chance to meet Salomon.
