Background / History

Tang San encounters Murong Ci in the Star Dou Forest while traveling with Zhao Wuji and the Shrek Seven Devils. He initially proposes friendship because Murong Ci knows Ning Rongrong, but Murong Ci remains distant. 8

When Xiao Wu is taken by the Titan Giant Ape, Tang San refuses to abandon her. Although injured, he insists on pursuing Murong Ci and Er Ming, calling Xiao Wu his sister. 10 After Murong Ci returns Xiao Wu to the group, Tang San is in the midst of absorbing the Man Faced Demon Spider soul ring that becomes his third ring. 11

Tang San later arrives at Heaven Dou Royal Academy with the Shrek group. During the academy elders’ test, the pressure forces his Eight Spider Lances to appear. 20

Personality

Tang San is protective of Xiao Wu and willing to risk himself for her, even while badly injured. 10

He is cautious toward Murong Ci after learning of Murong Ci’s intention to join Martial Soul Hall. Their discussion makes clear that Tang San expects their paths may eventually diverge into enmity. 9
