This was not the first time Shokuhou Misaki had extended an invitation.
It was even more generous than any invitation Riviera had ever received.
Not only did she agree to Riviera joining them,
she even invited her companions as well.
Riviera sighed inwardly. She could almost guarantee that the other party had learned something from her mind, and that she had complete confidence in herself.
But in the end, Riviera still shook her head.
"I'm sorry, but I can't make this decision on my own."
"That's all right. You can go back and discuss it properly with your companions." Shokuhou Misaki smiled, looking completely unconcerned.
That only made it even harder to tell whether she truly cared or not.
All Riviera could say was that competing with someone like this really put her under immense pressure.

"Didn't you already discover us?" one of the thugs in the lead said with a vicious look. "You even went to ask a soldier for help. Do you know that by doing so, you've only made us more certain that you've got something good on you?"
As thugs from the royal capital,
they knew perfectly well what the Kingdom's guards were like.
They were plainly arrogant toward outsiders.
If they were dealing with a local, they wouldn't dare go too far. But if it was an outsider, then even if the person died, what did it matter?
