Chapter 820: Become One with Me

It had to be said that Magneto had made the right decision.

As long as he escaped into the city, S.H.I.E.L.D. wouldn't dare do anything else to him.

Once a battle began,

the entire city would provide him with an inexhaustible supply of metal, and hundreds of thousands of civilians would become his hostages.

But there would be drawbacks as well.

Magneto's body was still extremely fragile. If he were found in the city, all it would take was a plastic bullet—or a shot from one of those drugs that could "cure" Mutants, fired secretly at him—and it would all be over.

That was why Magneto preferred hiding in the suburbs or in caves, avoiding contact with people and thereby preventing many dangers.

But now,

he had no choice but to flee.

Blackbeard transformed into a mass of black mist and enveloped Magneto and Tony within it.

"I have to say, we can't keep running like this forever." Blackbeard's huge face emerged from the black mist. "They're our enemies, and we need to find a chance to deal with them. There are two of us, while they'll inevitably have moments when they're separated."

Blackbeard wasn't the heroic sort.

He knew how to endure.

He also knew how to use his brain and resort to schemes and trickery.

The enemy was in the open, while they were in the shadows. That was their advantage. Aside from Whitebeard's side, which would be difficult to deal with, he wasn't afraid of any of the others one-on-one.

"I know. I'll consider it." Magneto gritted his teeth.

He had a feeling that his "old friend" had probably come too.

The war was truly about to begin.
