Even Garou himself felt utterly bewildered.
But the pain throughout his body kept telling him that this was reality.

Garou climbed out of the ruins and looked at Saitama. Even he could not help feeling a trace of fear in his eyes.
This battle was completely different from what he had imagined.
No, it should be said that it was completely different from every battle he had fought until now.
There had never been an opponent like this one, who first stood still and let him attack, then casually caught his hand, and finally tossed him away as if it were nothing.
"What the hell are you!?" Garou asked again, his face filled with disbelief.
"Me?" Saitama pointed at himself, thought for a moment, and said, "I'm just a hero for fun."
"You've got to be kidding!" Garou clearly could not accept it. He stood up, clenching his fists tightly. "A hero for fun? A monster like you is also a hero? That's ridiculous. Even a monster wouldn't be like you!"
Even those grotesque monsters were nothing like this.
None of their attacks had any effect at all.
The tiger claws that could tear through metal had grabbed at seemingly ordinary skin, yet had not even left a white mark.
How could this possibly be human?
"That's rude." Saitama frowned and extended his arm. "I'm a completely ordinary human being. Are you going to keep fighting? If not, just surrender and let Genos take you away."
Saitama was already losing interest.
The Garou before him was both weak and helpless.
If he had been a monster, Saitama would not have bothered saying anything. One punch would have finished him.
