Tang Yuehua (Part 1)

The music gradually faded, its lingering echoes drifting through the air.

The hall fell silent.

Tang Yuehua stood there in a daze. Tears had somehow already slid down her face, yet she seemed wholly unaware, still immersed in the tangled emotions stirred by the music.

The melody seemed like a mirror, reflecting the deepest recesses of her heart.

Watching her state, Xiao Yin's vague suspicions about the original story gradually became clear.

He suddenly spoke. His voice was not loud, yet it struck like thunder and shattered the silence:

"There has always been someone in your heart, hasn't there?"

Tang Yuehua's entire body jolted. She looked at Xiao Yin in panic, her eyes filled with terror. "You... Hall Master Xiao, why would you say such a thing? Yue Hua... Yue Hua doesn't understand..."

"This person is very special to you."

Ignoring her panic, Xiao Yin continued calmly, "So special that you both depended on him and suffered because of him; you wanted to get close, yet had to stay away. Even you yourself probably saw these feelings as an unspeakable sin."

Tang Yuehua's face turned from pale to ashen, and her breathing grew rapid. She could barely remain standing.

He knew?

How could he know?

How was that possible?!

Xiao Yin's gaze was sharp as a blade as he stared directly into her frantic eyes and slowly asked, word by word:

"If I'm not mistaken..."

"This person is your biological second brother—"

"Tang Hao."

"No—!!!"

Tang Yuehua seemed to collapse completely. With a scream, she staggered back, knocking over the chair behind her before falling clumsily to the floor.

She clutched her ears tightly and shook her head desperately, tears bursting forth like a broken dam. "No! You're lying! No! How could you... how could you slander me like this?!
