The boy, roughly ten years old, who had escaped the spears, saw his pupils dilate sharply. As if witnessing something truly horrific, he let out a miserable shriek, clutching his chest as if something had pierced his body, and stumbled backward.

However, another shadow trailing behind was not so lucky. Caught off guard, he was swallowed by the hound formed by the "Dog Bite Crimson Lotus." The scalding lava poured over his mortal flesh, and he didn't even have time to scream before he dissolved into the magma.

The ground in front of Sato Hideaka was a mess. The lava from [Lava Release: Dog Bite Crimson Lotus] had corroded the earth into a pitted landscape, forming bubbling, scorching craters. The edges of the holes were charred black, and the air above shimmered with distortion...
