A night of deep sleep had eased his mental exhaustion considerably, leaving him feeling refreshed.
Before he went to sleep the night before, Kreacher had brought him several bottles of high-grade potions, all masterfully brewed to restore the body.
The Black Family House kept a stock of these potions year-round. Whenever they approached their expiration dates, Kreacher would take them to a potions shop in Diagon Alley and exchange them for fresh ones.
Of course, he had to pay the difference, but that amount meant practically nothing to the Black Family.
The supply had not been maintained during the period after Regulus's death, while Sirius Black was in prison.
But after Sirius Black returned and "reconciled" with Kreacher, Kreacher had demonstrated through his abilities exactly why he was the Black Family House's sole "butler."
Besides his unwavering loyalty to the Black Family, Kreacher could keep the family's vast holdings in perfect order and even care for its members down to the smallest detail.
Thanks to the potency of those potions, Isaac had recovered most of his strength after a night's sleep.
He did not call for Kreacher when he got up. After dressing, he went into the bathroom to wash up, then took the stairs down to the hall.
As soon as he arrived, he saw three people sharing a warm, relaxed moment.
Harry, Sirius Black, and Lupin.
Harry and Sirius Black were sitting on the long sofa in the center. Whatever Harry had said, it had sent Sirius Black into peals of laughter.
Harry grinned foolishly along with him.
As for Lupin, he watched the two with the smile of a loving father.
