Ch. 361Heaven-Deceiving Divine Pattern
Chapter Summary
- Chen An subdues the Six-Winged Golden Cicada: Under pressure from an Extreme Dao Imperial Weapon, the cicada gives up its resistance. Chen An uses a beast-enslaving rune to imprint its Primordial Spirit, binding it to him. The cicada introduces itself as San Zang, explaining that its name means it is destined to devour and bury all creation. Chen An brings it out of the Dao Crystal.
- A crisis unfolds during a Saint King Tribulation: Chen An sees Feng Xiaotian struggling to survive his tribulation while a Three-Legged Golden Crow attacks him with Solar True Fire. San Zang explains that the Golden Crow bears a Heaven-Deceiving Divine Pattern, an ancient divine technique that conceals its presence from the Heavenly Dao. This lets it enter the lightning sea without being targeted by the tribulation.
- Feng Xiaotian faces death: The Peak Saint is battered by the lightning and the Golden Crow’s assault. Unwilling to die without a fight, he prepares to take his enemy down with him. Before he can act, a sharp cry rings out and a streak of golden light shoots toward the Golden Crow, leaving the outcome unresolved.
