Accidents always happened so suddenly. Who would have thought that Batman, that cunning man, would be so clumsy on his feet?
Poison Ivy froze for a moment, then delight immediately blossomed across her face. "Looks like even heaven is on our side."
With a flick of her hand, the vines wrapped around Du Mu immediately tightened, dragging him before her. Her eyes were full of triumphant mockery.
"Batman, you've finally fallen into my hands."
Du Mu's expression remained unchanged, his tone resolute. "Evil will never defeat justice."
Poison Ivy snorted. "You're still talking tough at a time like this? Let's see how long your righteous heart can hold out!"
As soon as she finished speaking, she cupped Du Mu's head and leaned down toward him.
Du Mu forcefully turned his face away, resisting fiercely.
Poison Ivy licked her lips, her smile deepening. "The more you resist, the more excited I get."
She controlled the vines, fixing Du Mu's head completely still, then went straight in for a kiss.
As a plant woman, Poison Ivy had no bad breath. Instead, she carried a faint floral fragrance.
But who was Du Mu?
A true gentleman who remained unmoved even with a beauty in his lap—his lips were sealed tight, his defenses airtight. He swore to protect his innocence to the death, leaving Poison Ivy able to breach only the outer perimeter.
Three seconds later, Poison Ivy let go and stepped back half a pace, proudly declaring to Du Mu, "From now on, you're my slave. Every command I give is an imperial decree. Do you understand?"
"Pah! Dream on!"
Du Mu spat fiercely, his gaze as sharp as ever, showing no sign of wavering.
"Huh?"
A flicker of surprise appeared on Poison Ivy's face before turning into admiration. "As expected of Batman.
