Du Mu Goes to Hell

Just moments earlier, Du Mu had accidentally expanded the Taunt Fruit's range to the maximum, pulling the aggro of all the nearby Kryptonian soldiers. One by one, they came before him with red eyes.

Unable to bear their scorching stares, Du Mu decisively turned and ran.

However, the Taunt Fruit's effect was still ongoing.

The Kryptonian soldiers all leaped into their ships and floored the throttle in pursuit of Du Mu, even casting aside their crucial duty of guarding the World Engine.

Du Mu weaved through the air with all sorts of erratic maneuvers, nimbly evading the dense energy attacks behind him.

But he knew perfectly well that blindly dodging was not a long-term solution. He had to find a way to deal with the Kryptonian soldiers chasing him.

Just then, he happened to catch sight of the message Bruce had just sent in the chat group, and an idea immediately came to him.

Du Mu accelerated at full speed, temporarily shaking off his pursuers. He dove to the ground, hoisted the Kryptonian ship beside Bruce onto his shoulder, then turned and raced toward the World Engine.

At the same time, as he took off, he activated the Ultron Armor's external loudspeaker.

"All eyes on me! I have an announcement: every one of you here is trash!"

The moment those words came out, the Kryptonian soldiers behind him exploded.

"Kill him!"

"Tear that Earthling scum apart!"

Without a second thought, the Kryptonian soldiers charged after Du Mu at full speed, heedless of everything else.

The Kryptonian scientist whom Barry had knocked away also crawled out of the ruins and rushed over.

Bruce immediately tensed up and assumed a fighting stance, while Barry stood frozen in place, completely at a loss.

Just as the two thought a fierce battle was unavoidable,
