After Bruce explained things, Oliver finally believed that the members of the Super Seven were not villains.
Even if he did not believe it, he had to pretend he did. Otherwise, he probably would not make it out the base's front gates today.
Bruce turned to Du Mu and raised a hand toward Oliver beside him. "Allow me to introduce him. This is Green Arrow, from Star City. He is now an official member of our Justice League."
Du Mu grinned. "I know him. His wife is amazing."
Oliver: "?"
"I misspoke. His archery is amazing."
Du Mu actually had a rather favorable impression of Oliver.
Of course, it was not because of his wife, Black Canary. Rather, in the comics, Oliver was an interesting character.
He was clearly the richest man in Star City, and, like Bruce, a billionaire heartthrob, yet deep down he was a staunch socialist who gave every friend around him a copy of Capital during every holiday season.
But because he had picked up just a touch of that red attribute, and because his character setup overlapped too much with Batman, DC's golden child, his presence in the comics had steadily dwindled.
By the end, his appearance rate was not even as high as that other guy dressed entirely in green. He could only serve as background scenery in major events, occasionally showing his face to remind people he existed.
Thinking of this, Du Mu patted Oliver on the shoulder. "Don't worry. From now on, just roll with me. I guarantee you'll get plenty of screen time. Your appearance rate definitely won't be lower than that Canadian's."
Oliver looked utterly confused. He could not understand a word Du Mu was saying, so he could only turn an imploring gaze toward Bruce.
Bruce spoke expressionlessly. "Green
