"Roar!"
Furious roars rose and fell, exploding one after another all around them.
The shadows simultaneously burst through their clothes. Flesh writhed and twisted, while bones crackled as they continuously grew and deformed.
In the blink of an eye, they transformed into a group of bizarre, horrifying monsters.
The monsters came in all shapes and sizes, each more outrageous than the last.
Some had no heads, their bodies densely covered in eyes, arms, and legs. Some were covered head to toe in sharp bone spurs, with arms so long they dragged along the ground. Others had three faces crammed onto their heads, each face bearing only one feature: an eye, a nose, or a mouth.
Rather than demons, they looked more like failed experiments from some biotech laboratory, full of grotesqueness and deformity.
Compared to these things, the demons Du Mu had seen in Hell earlier could practically be called handsome men and beautiful women.
Du Mu raised an eyebrow. "You little things sure look distinctive."
The monsters howled and charged at the two of them. The sea of black figures was overwhelmingly imposing.
"Be careful, Sorcerer Supreme!"
Lei Kung's expression turned grave. He immediately tensed and assumed a fighting stance, preparing to meet the enemy.
"It's fine. They're just demons."
Du Mu looked entirely relaxed as he pulled out Pharaoh's Scepter and slowly raised it overhead.
Illumination!
In an instant, the tip of the scepter erupted with blinding pure white light, as though a small sun had risen from thin air, illuminating the surroundings at once.
Wherever the blazing white light swept, the demons immediately let out miserable screams. Their flesh seemed to have been splashed with concentrated acid, instantly smoking and sizzling as it corroded and melted at a visible rate. The pain sent them rolling across the
