With a shout, Raditz suddenly jerked his upper body upright, gasping for breath.
After staring blankly for a moment, he saw a white metal wall before him. Where was he?
Turning his head, he saw the orange-haired girl beside him. Exhausted, she had fallen asleep at his side, clutching an empty can of drink in her hand. The space around them was cramped; apart from the rest pod he lay in, there were only walls and sanitation facilities.
He was inside a spaceship. Raditz let out a breath of relief.
It seemed they had successfully escaped Metal Planet after all...
"Raditz! You're awake!" Fladi suddenly rushed in, crying out in surprise.
"At least I'm all right. My shoulder and back still hurt a little, though." Raditz bared his teeth.
He looked around and asked, "Where are we? What happened to Bundless?"
The last thing Raditz remembered was collapsing into the orange-haired girl's arms. After that, he remembered nothing. He had desperately fought back against the chip and activated the hidden destruction program, forcibly reversing the chip and destroying Bundless.
"This is the Resistance Army's spaceship. Bundless was destroyed too quickly, and your ship didn't have time to restore power to its systems, so rest here for now," Fladi said truthfully. She pointed outside the cabin door, where a large crowd had packed the main compartment. "Everyone's here."
