Shizuka Hiratsuka's trip to the Kondo Group was often full of surprises. Just as she slammed the resurrection incantation onto the ground, another scroll actually fell out of it, bearing the words xx Techniques.
She hadn't noticed anything else, but Hiratsuka clearly saw the word "Techniques." So this so-called resurrection incantation had merely been a smokescreen. She knew it—the mighty Demon Vice-Chief, the guy who had nearly scared her into collapsing with a single sword strike, could not possibly be addicted to games, especially not old-school console games. So that had all been meant to deceive people. If she hadn't thrown it down just now, then... As she thought, Hiratsuka picked up xx Techniques and inspected it closely. It clearly read: <Plumber Clear Guide, Toshiro Hijikata's Top-Secret Special Edition>. Hiratsuka: "..." No, no, no, this had to be another smokescreen. Who would treat a plumber game walkthrough with such solemnity? There had to be some powerful Kondo Group secret hidden inside!
Then... it really was a fucking plumber game guide! Why did it even document how eating mushrooms made you bigger? The worst part was that this was for the most primitive version of Plumber. Didn't he know Plumber had already released goddamn N generations of sequels?
"Smack..." Hiratsuka slammed the scroll onto the ground again. If she believed it this time, she really would be an idiot! Yet after that toss, another scroll fell out of the first one.
Hiratsuka: "..." Was this some kind of Russian nesting doll game? Fine, idiot or not, it had been hidden this deeply. There had to be a secret, right?
Next, she saw Plumber Clear Guide: Kotaro Katsura Edition, <Plumber Clear Guide: Anti-Kotaro Katsura Edition, by Hijikata>, and Plumber Clear Guide: Anti-Hijikata Anti... They really were playing Russian nesting dolls with her.
