"Lady Erina, Doma-senpai just came out of the villa again..." Under Erina Nakiri's insistence, Hisako had been about to put down the binoculars and sneak into Sogo Doma's villa when she suddenly spoke up.
Erina Nakiri: "..."
"Hisako, does that guy ever study cooking? What's he coming out for again?"
"I don't know, but Doma-senpai has a bottle in his hand now..."
"A bottle? What kind of bottle?" Erina Nakiri asked quickly.
"It looks like a wine bottle..." Hisako wasn't entirely sure.
Erina Nakiri: "..."
W-wine? That guy wasn't even old enough to drink!
"Hisako, you must have seen it wrong. That guy's already wasted an entire day, and now, in the middle of the night..."
"Ah, Lady Erina, Doma-senpai has already poured the wine into a glass and is drinking it..."
Erina Nakiri: "..."
So how exactly had that guy learned to cook?
And so, after several weeks of observation,
Erina Nakiri had gone from being full of enthusiasm to questioning her entire existence.
"Hisako, what's that guy's schedule today...?" Erina Nakiri asked listlessly.
"Yes, Lady Erina. Doma-senpai challenged a former member of the Elite Ten again, and afterward, just like usual..."
"Played video games? Drank? Skipped class?"
"Ahem..." Arato Hisako coughed twice. "More or less..."
After several more weeks of observation,
Erina Nakiri found herself questioning her life even more. She couldn't understand why Sogo Doma spent all day fooling around, yet his cooking kept improving steadily.
If she couldn't figure this out, she was about to lose even the motivation to improve herself. She was beginning to feel lost.
That confusion reached its peak when Sogo Doma challenged one of his professors to a Shokugeki, and Erina Nakiri, as a judge, tasted his latest dish.
The result of the Shokugeki was obvious. The guest professor
