"Oh." Facing Kazusa Touma, who was looking at her, Mashiro Shiina remained calm. Given her former international reputation, it was only natural that some people knew of her, but she did not care about that.
"Hm?" Umaru Doma, sensing that something was off, froze for a moment.
But before she could speak, Kazusa Touma said, "Umaru, this has nothing to do with you..."
"Eh?" Umaru Doma grew even more confused. Fortunately, Kazusa Touma was not the type to keep people in suspense. After speaking to Umaru, she looked at Mashiro again. "I heard that a year and a half ago, you had already reached the level Sogo Doma was at when he was twelve?"
Mashiro Shiina tilted her head. What level? Drawing? She thought back carefully. When she had left this country, Sogo had dealt her a crushing blow, but after training in England, she believed that a year and a half ago, she was already no worse than Sogo had been back then. With that thought, Mashiro nodded.
"Then, did you give up?" Seeing her admit it, Kazusa Touma pressed on. After all, there was precedent for this sort of thing in the Doma Family!
Mashiro Shiina did not understand. Give up on what? Give up drawing? Impossible. There was no way she would give it up. It was her only talent, and she had cultivated it since childhood. If she gave it up, what else could she do? Why would anyone ask her such a question? Puzzled, she shook her head.
"Th-that's great..." Kazusa Touma was overjoyed at the sight, but after her delight faded, she became a little awkward. "I know this request may be rather rude, but could you compete with me? I want to know what I'm still lacking..."
Mashiro Shiina was even more confused.
