"It should be possible..." Yukino Yukinoshita covered her forehead with one hand as she looked at the bewildered Mashiro sitting before the desk, muttering to herself. Just as Sogo Doma had said, the same test points presented in a different way had left Mashiro completely stumped. Yet the girl was quite indignant about it:
"Sogo, Yukino, the questions are all different!"
Different questions? The questions Yukino had made up on the spot were much easier than the ones on the test paper, okay? Besides, this world was not so easy that memorizing a single test paper would let someone rest easy forever! Still, despite saying that, Yukino Yukinoshita could not deny what Sogo Doma had just said—
Mashiro really was a genius. Though her current level was rather embarrassing, given her talent, passing the make-up exam was not impossible. Of course, that was only if Yukino could make Mashiro do more than merely memorize the answers—she had to understand them as well.
Yukino Yukinoshita had always been serious about everything she did. Since she had accepted the request and the person involved had raised no objection, she would do everything in her power to fulfill it. Failure was a disgrace to her—not because Sogo Doma had said something like:
"Though Mashiro has just the tiniest little problem..." Yukino clearly remembered that when he said this, Sogo Doma had deliberately held his thumb and index finger close together to show exactly how tiny that little problem was, before continuing:
"With Mashiro's talent, simply passing the make-up exam shouldn't be a problem. If Yukinoshita thinks she can't do it, I can give up this request. Though time is tight, if I stay up all night for the next few nights, I should be able to tutor Mashiro enough
