"Hm?" Xiang An sensed something and looked toward Lander.
"Something happening?" Lawrence noticed Xiang An's movement and looked up to ask.
Xiang An was already tall, and mounted on Surging Wave Gallop's back, he seemed even taller. Lawrence had to crane her neck just to speak with him, which reminded her of what it had felt like talking to Oushen in the Ocean Singularity.
"The Four Ghost Generals have found enemies. Lawrence, I'll go on ahead. Keep an eye on things here." Xiang An nodded, his voice carrying a trace of gravity.
"Alright, go quickly." Knowing how swift Xiang An was on horseback, Lawrence nodded.
"Gallop, move!" Xiang An did not delay. He squeezed his legs against the horse's flanks and urged it on.
"Neighhh—" Surging Wave Gallop threw back its head with a whinny. Obvious magical energy surged from its body as wind gathered beneath its hooves. With a powerful kick of its hind legs, it leaped into the air and ran straight into the sky, instantly widening the distance from Lawrence and the others behind it.
"That horse can fly?" Robin Hood stared blankly at Surging Wave Gallop and Xiang An as they raced into the sky and flew farther away.
"It can tread on clouds above and ride the waves below. That horse has plenty of tricks." Lawrence smiled, though a trace of concern inevitably showed in her eyes.
