Whoosh—
Bzzzt—boom!!!
A violent explosion erupted in midair. Anno landed on the ground and silently watched the Lion King.
Why—why wasn't she using her full strength?
Was it the pride of a king, disdaining to use her full strength even against a formidable enemy like me? Or was she simply unable to use it?
Anno quietly considered the possibilities.
He knew Rhongomyniad well. Back then, fifteen knights had gathered around the projection of the Tower of the End, each using their own oaths and loyalty to restrain that immense, uncontrollable power. In the end, they had transformed it from mere magical energy into its present form. Every Knight of the Round Table who had sworn a binding oath before that projection could be called a maker of Rhongomyniad.
Bindings were restrictions. Whenever the wielder upheld one of those bindings, Rhongomyniad's power drew closer to its original state. The Lion King currently had six Knights of the Round Table at her side: Gawain, Lancelot, Mordred, Gareth, Tristan, and Agravain. Given the current situation, it would not have been strange if all six of those bindings had been released.
And yet, the Rhongomyniad before him was far too weak.
The light it manifested could indeed trigger violent explosions. It could indeed carve straight lines across the earth and kill countless refugees.
But compared to Rhongomyniad's true power, it was far too weak.
If six bindings had been released, along with Artoria's own, then seven in total—nearly half the bindings—would have been
