"You've arrived."
Sitting quietly within the village was the one Knight of the Round Table who had descended into this Singularity and whose identity alone had yet to be revealed.
A gentle smile rested on his face as he rose and gave Anno, Pindo, and the others a slight bow. "I have been waiting here for quite some time."
His name was—Bedivere.
"Sir Bedivere." Pindo gave Bedivere a small nod of greeting.
"Well now, so the Knights of the Round Table actually have someone like you. You feel almost excessively gentle."
Robin sat on a nearby tree branch, swinging her legs as she looked upon Bedivere as though he were something extraordinary.
"What do you mean, 'the Knights of the Round Table actually have someone like this'?" Anno's brow twitched.
"Hmm, how should I put this? Among us fairies, the Knights of the Round Table have a very, very terrible reputation."
Robin stroked her chin and raised one finger as she spoke.
"I can imagine." Anno neither agreed nor disagreed.
The Knights of the Round Table were the fairies' mortal enemies. It was easy enough to imagine how the fairies spoke of them.
"So before I met you, I thought you all looked like the type who were over two meters tall, covered in bulging muscles, and could slap several people like me to death with one hand." Robin gestured as she spoke.
Anno: "...Wait a second?"
"Hm? Is there a problem?" Robin looked at Anno with an adorably puzzled tilt of her head. "I'm just stating facts, aren't I?"
"Think about it. Fairies are generally stronger than humans, but then a group of humans suddenly appeared who were far stronger than fairies and slaughtered them like dogs. What kind of image do you think you have in fairies' minds?"
