Gilgamesh placed the tablet back into Siduri's hands, a faintly amused smile appearing on his face.

"Set aside a plot of land south of Uruk. Have Annanu grow crops there, then arrange for Enkidu to tend the pasture west of the fields. Assign him two cattle and fifteen sheep."

"Can I leave things like seeds and farming tools to you?"

Gilgamesh looked at his newly appointed aide, a smile at the corner of his lips.

"I understand."

Siduri did not avert her eyes from Gilgamesh's gaze. She merely nodded with a calm smile.

Gilgamesh nodded back at Siduri and let out a comfortable breath.

Gilgamesh had no ulterior motives in making Siduri his aide.

He had plenty of beauties around him. If he wished, every woman in Uruk would come to his palace, and Siduri was not the sort of peerless beauty either.

He was simply somewhat concerned with Siduri's attitude.

He was the king of Uruk, and had been since childhood. Not long after his memories first formed, he was already seated in this position.

He knew everything about this city-state. He could even recite the names of every citizen of Uruk, including the dead, so long as they had once lived in this city-state under his rule.
