The bone spear suddenly thrust forward, carrying an incomparably sharp force. Adekate's eyes gleamed faintly as it seemed about to strike Kurgarru.

Yet the water jug appeared directly in the spear's path, catching it with its mouth and restricting Adekate's movements.

Adekate gritted his teeth and violently swung the spear, trying to wrench the water jug from Kurgarru's hand. But the golden chain lengthened in an instant with a clattering sound, wrapping itself around Adekate's spear instead.
