"It was the bridge that connected life."
Annanu had already landed on the ground.
His pale, bare feet stepped upon Mesopotamian soil. Following the wind's direction step by step, he walked toward Tiamat, toward his mother goddess.
Woooo—
Annanu raised his hands, gazing straight ahead, the corners of his mouth carrying a faint, tranquil smile.
The wind passed through Annanu's fingertips, letting out a mournful wail.
"The light woven to shelter primordial desire. What was not entrusted to the heavens is entrusted to the present."
As Annanu walked, he lifted his head slightly. His yellow pupils shone with golden light, like an autumn Cedar Forest beneath the setting sun—brilliantly gold, yet touched by a magnificent desolation.
Bzz—
He looked up at the heavens. The whimpering wind began to roar as it gathered around Annanu. The light in his eyes spread from his body, dyeing even the howling wind around him gold.
The golden storm had begun to take shape.
Riding the wind just like that, Annanu's feet slowly left the ground.
"The heavens and clouds shall flow across the earth together."
"This is the desire inscribed by the flaws of life."
Bzz—
Woooooo—
Wooooooooooooo—
The smile on Annanu's lips vanished, leaving only cold severity in his eyes.
He was the cold one. He was the furious one. What he represented was part of nature's will, born naturally from the planet itself—pure hostility.
The Mother of Creation was making an enemy of nature.
"AAAAAAAAAA—"
Tiamat's song suddenly turned shrill.
She could sense Annanu's objective. Though she possessed no reason, instinct was enough.
However, heaven and earth had already changed color.
The golden storm howled violently around Annanu, stirring the clouds in the sky and sweeping up the soil from the ground, making the tempest more terrifying, more spectacular, and more enraged.
