A bright, clear moon hung in the sky, with no sign of any evil presence.
A beautiful white-haired woman sat by the roadside and let out a soft sigh.
She was the oni known as Archer Inferno, one of the seven Heroic Spirit Swordmasters—the demon who had created countless charred corpses.
Now, she did not look like a demon in the slightest. She merely sat quietly by the side of the road, a trace of sorrow in her eyes as she raised her head to gaze at the bright moon overhead, no one knowing what she was thinking.
"Lady Inferno."
Whoosh—
A shadow flashed past, and Katō Danzō, Limbo's puppet, appeared beside Archer Inferno.
"I finally... finally caught up with you."
Katō Danzō looked half-dead from exhaustion, though no one knew why a robot could be exhausted to death.
"I thought you intended to leave the southern end of Shimosa. If you had kept running like that, you probably would have reached the coast in no time."
"Ah, sorry, Danzō."
Archer Inferno smiled apologetically and somewhat sheepishly scratched her head.
"Perhaps I got a little too excited and simply started running to my heart's content."
"Please forgive me. I had no intention of leaving you behind, you know?"
The oni, Archer Inferno, smiled beautifully, without the slightest trace of malice.
"No, please do not concern yourself with me. However, Lady Archer Inferno truly is too fast. At Danzō's speed, even if I were riding at full gallop, catching up should have been effortless—yet I was unable to catch you."
Danzō straightened up, returning to her serious, stern expression.
"However, you truly should exercise a little restraint, my lady. You are a precious Heroic Spirit Swordmaster. Your Spirit Origin must not be allowed to burn out so easily."
"Furthermore, the
