Unlike someone like Sakumura, who merely wanted to use the sword to accomplish something, Shinmen Musashi and Yagyu Tajima-no-kami Munenori were pure swordsmen, humans who endlessly pursued the depths of themselves.

—They only wanted to spar with real blades.
All so that—one day, they could climb to a higher summit, one they could never reach through their own strength alone.
