"Rin, I have some bad news to tell you."
The next morning, inside Fuyuki Church, Kirei Kotomine stood with his back to Rin Tohsaka. He turned his head slightly and spoke expressionlessly.
"Sakura and Shinji both seem to be in a very bad state emotionally. What is it on your end that's going to give me another headache?"
Rin Tohsaka looked half-dead.
She had originally intended to go to the Matou Family's base, but after calling, she discovered that Sakura was in a terrible mental state. For the time being, she gave up on going that morning and decided she would bring Sakura a meal around noon instead.
Since she was already out in the morning anyway, she came to Fuyuki Church to see whether there was any new information regarding Ryudou Temple.
"Your school's student council president has become involved in this Holy Grail War as a Master."
Kirei Kotomine turned around.
".Huh?"
Rin froze.
"It was discovered during last night's intelligence gathering."
Kirei Kotomine placed two photographs before Rin Tohsaka.
"That Servant who infiltrated Ryudou Temple, Rider, somehow made this boy named Issei Ryuudou her Master, as you can see."
"How did this happen... Just how many more troublesome things are going to happen in this Holy Grail War?"
Looking at Issei Ryuudou in the photograph, Rin Tohsaka clutched her head with a pained expression.
Red Archer stood in the distance, seemingly unsure what to say.
Why was this Holy Grail War starting to feel more and more wrong?
When would he ever complete his mission? He had not even found his target yet—though he roughly knew where that target was.
"So, what should we do?"
Kirei Kotomine sat across from Rin and looked at his junior as though asking for her opinion.
"You're the overseer of this
