"Make Berserker stop."
Grabbing the hand of the white-haired, red-eyed girl before her, Hinako Akuta spoke without the slightest courtesy.
"O-Okay."
Illya looked teary-eyed, as if she had suffered some terrible injustice.
After giving Berserker the command in her mind, she could only obediently surrender.
Normally speaking, her own strength definitely wasn't weak. But the problem was—what the hell was this woman!?
How could she possibly be this strong?
Didn't the intelligence say this woman was just some inconsequential shut-in? Why was an inconsequential shut-in such a powerful mage!?
Where exactly had the intelligence gone wrong?
Hinako Akuta paid no attention to the immature-looking girl's attitude. A drop of blood transformed into a rope, binding Illya's hands behind her back, then tying up her feet as well. Finally, she sealed her mouth before tossing her into her room. Then Hinako Akuta rose, walked to the doorway, and looked up at the sky.
Sure enough, not long afterward, Xiang An descended into the courtyard atop Baima, dragging a huge black mass behind him.
"Sister-in-law! I'm back!"
Looking thoroughly refreshed, Xiang An tossed the bound and motionless Berserker into the courtyard, then clasped his fists toward his sister-in-law in report.
"Mm. This one's magical energy doesn't feel weak. You've worked hard, Uncle. Now then—let's take a look at this little girl."
Hinako Akuta turned around and stared gloomily at Illya, whom she had tossed into the corner of the room.
"This kid is the Master of the one outside?"
Xiang An frowned slightly.
If she was just a child, then Berserker's actions were not entirely incomprehensible.
After all, although Xiang An had no children himself, he understood quite well the so-called evil of children.
Theoretically, Xiang An leaned more toward the belief that human nature was inherently evil.
"So what exactly happened?"
