"Looks like you have no plans to leave right away."
Anno glanced at Sakumura and gave a smile that seemed a little off, but was genuinely kind.
"Let's see what Kirei has been doing all these years, then we'll leave."
Sakumura clearly had no intention of staying here long-term either. He punched Kirei Kotomine's shoulder and smiled.
Whenever he was around Sakumura, Kirei Kotomine always felt as though his emotions were somewhat beyond his control.
As he himself had said, perhaps he really had changed somewhat. But his killing intent toward Sakumura, as well as his excitement at seeing Sakumura standing before him once more, were objectively real—and somewhat impossible to suppress.
"So the Greater Grail's corruption has been cleared away now? But the Greater Grail itself doesn't seem to have any problems?"
Xiang An guided Torrent Gallop down to the ground, swung himself off the horse, and looked toward the inside of the crater. There was still a path leading into the Great Cavern over there, one that had not been completely destroyed.
". . . I think something like the Greater Grail would be better off no longer existing in this world."
Anno looked at that path, fell silent for a moment, then said so.
"I think so too—though, in many cases, we wouldn't have been summoned if not for the Holy Grail War. But how should I put it..."
"I still feel all kinds of malice in the whole Holy Grail War setup. Especially since, across so many timelines, there are so many messy variations of the Holy Grail War too. Humans really do love making trouble for themselves."
Sakumura stretched as he complained.
". . . I won't deny it."
Anno shrugged as well.
The Holy Grail War always gave rise to all manner of conflict.
