"You mean you're leaving?"
Rin Tohsaka looked conflictedly at the man standing at the entrance of the Tohsaka Family home.
Her Servant, Archer Shirou Emiya.
After the dinner gathering two nights ago, he had apologized to her and vanished. For the next two days, she could only sense through their contract that he had not been eliminated. Then, this morning, he had suddenly returned.
And after returning, he told her he was leaving.
"What, can't bear to part with me?"
"Overall, fighting side by side all this time was quite a nice memory, wasn't it?"
Emiya smiled, his tone lighthearted.
"It wasn't a bad memory, exactly. At least, not until I found out you were Shirou Emiya."
Rin Tohsaka said expressionlessly.
Because of this Archer Emiya, the way she looked at Shirou Emiya now felt rather off. She was even somewhat wary of him.
She had not used any Holy Relic when summoning her Servant. She had merely used magecraft to calculate a time when she would absolutely be able to summon Saber. Then she had attempted the summoning, only to summon Archer Emiya instead.
In other words, she had summoned this Shirou Emiya purely through compatibility. As for why she had summoned him... the more she thought about it, the more terrifying it became, to the point that she did not want to consider that possibility.
There had clearly been—not the slightest sign of it!
"You don't need to treat me as Shirou Emiya."
