Arthur shook his head, trying to calm down.

Guinevere could tell Arthur seemed to want to say something. She smiled. "My king, what is it you want to say? As your wife, I'll listen carefully."

Arthur pondered what to say, while Guinevere waited quietly beside him with a smile.

"My queen, what I want to tell you is a truth that will be unbearably cruel to you. Even so, do you still want to know?"

Guinevere took Arthur's hand and kissed the back of it. "I am yours, my king."

Arthur took a deep breath. Under Guinevere's blushing gaze, he took off the formal clothes he wore over his other garments.

What was revealed wasn't a muscular physique, but the truth Arthur had concealed from an entire kingdom.

"This is what I wanted to tell you, my queen, Guinevere." Bandages wrapped around Arthur's chest, concealing the monarch's secret.

Guinevere stared at Arthur, her pupils contracting as an expression of disbelief came over her face.

"King Arthur... is a woman?" she murmured, covering her mouth.
