It had to be said that Otto truly was a genius. Even after sealing away his own memories, he had still managed to accomplish so much and successfully scheme against the world itself.
Still, that was only natural. The end of the Age of Gods was, after all, connected to the fact that the existence of the gods themselves had become a threat to the world.
As the gods developed and generation after generation of deities were born, they occupied the vast majority of the world's resources—including both supernatural and mundane resources—placing an enormous burden on the world.
There had even been a trend toward the sort of world found in female-oriented novels, where gods, over personal grudges and romantic entanglements, made all living beings suffer alongside them and brought immense calamities upon the world.
The ancient Indian gods, in particular, deserved criticism for their sheer capriciousness. The gods of that region were notoriously ruled by their emotions, and they also possessed their own unique systems of curses, to the point that even high-ranking gods could not resist the curses of lower-ranking ones.
Under such a system, the ancient Indian pantheon was defined by chaos.
Beyond that, the gods of Mesopotamia, ancient Greece, Ancient Persia, and other regions were not much better. At the slightest provocation, they would stir up some enormous disaster, then make the mortals bear the cost and suffer alongside them, forcing countless people to endure calamities born of the gods' whims.
If the main world had not been sturdy enough, then judging by the conduct of those gods during the Age of Gods, Earth would have been played to death sooner or later.
Though the Light Screen footage had not shown much, it had revealed enough utterly worldview-shattering details to leave people in the real world
