The Light Screen image shifted to Fujimaru Ritsuka and the others.

The King of Heroes commented, "You saw your life as a failure, so you wanted to deny your past and end your future by erasing that past?"

"Hmph, what a boring faker. I thought he had some kind of resolve, but it turns out he was simply denying himself completely!"

"It really is infuriating. Still, if that fellow were my retainer, I would make proper use of him."

"After all, though he makes counterfeits, those counterfeits are quite useful. If he had been present in that war I experienced, I would not have needed to fire all my Noble Phantasms as though they were bombs."

Fujimaru Ritsuka could not help showing a nostalgic expression. "That war... Indeed. If Guardian Emiya Shirou had been there at the time, King Gilgamesh, you surely could have created even more miracles."

After a pause, she continued, "But I do not agree with that kind of self-denial either. Whether painful or beautiful, whether filled with regret or joy, it is all one's own life—one's own experiences."

"Trying to erase one's past self in order to deny everything about oneself is not the right path. Even if endless pain and hardship lie ahead, when we must continue onward, we should bear it all and walk forward without wavering."

As she spoke, she glanced at Fujimaru Tachibana, her words clearly carrying another meaning.

Fujimaru Tachibana answered with silence. Her small body curled in slightly, as though she did not wish to offer any comment on her sibling's words.

Yet sorrow, melancholy, and struggle had already appeared in the girl's eyes.
