"What... what the hell is going on?"
Listening to the alarms blaring around her and looking at the various error reports filling the screens, Olga-Marie felt her head swell.
Most importantly, not a single one of her staff could figure out where the system error had come from. All they knew was that there was an error in the virtual reality system.
This was a total disaster.
Although the spiritron computer was incredibly powerful, it had actually been created with technical support from the Atlas Institute, one of the three major organizations under the Mage's Association. The people who truly understood the spiritron computer were from the Atlas Institute.
Thus, now that the system was malfunctioning—and it was not some basic error—it became an unsolvable problem for Chaldea's staff. The Atlas Institute had only provided technical support; none of its people were stationed at Chaldea.
In truth, the spiritron computer's level of black technology was even more outrageous than imagined.
Its core technology was designed to support Spiritron Transfer, allowing Masters to travel to any era while using its spiritron computational power to prove their "existence in the spiritron sense" no matter what age they were in, thereby allowing them to interfere with the past.
In other words, like the quantum realm in scientific theory, it involved matters tied to the meaning of time.
In fact, this also involved the Sea of Imaginary Numbers, hailed as the most mysterious place and a symbol of the unknown and possibility. Time did not exist there, which also meant there was a possibility of interfering with time through it.
The Spiritron Transfer system itself used the spiritron computer to borrow from the Sea of Imaginary Numbers and achieve that possibility.
Therefore, Fujimaru Tachibana, whose consciousness had entered the virtual reality world, happened to
