Even if I bear the Ninja World, I, Madara Uchiha, am still invincible in this world! (1st update)
In the Light Screen footage, Madara Uchiha's plan had been fully laid bare.
Or rather, that domineering man had never intended to hide anything. The White Zetsu under his command had been modified with the power of yokai, turning them into grotesque monsters.
Originally, these White Zetsu were servants of Black Zetsu—plant-like beings formed from those who had fallen under the Infinite Tsukuyomi in ancient times. They possessed only rudimentary intelligence and thought.
Yet these monsters had a natural advantage: they could blend into nature itself, making their presence extremely difficult to detect.
Moreover, like yokai, White Zetsu could mimic and transform into other people, even replicating their aura. Even among yokai, only those with exceptionally outstanding talents in that regard could accomplish such a feat.
Of course, they could only imitate people from the Ninja World, because people of the Ninja World possessed chakra. They could not transform into people from other worlds or into yokai.
As for the White Zetsu fused with yokai power, their combat strength had increased significantly, and they had gained certain special abilities. In exchange, however, they had lost their mimicry ability. Thus, those yokai-fused White Zetsu now served as Madara Uchiha's main combat fodder.
Lastly, there was Tobi. He was special—a unique individual among the White Zetsu, and possessed immense power.
Furthermore, he had abilities that ordinary White Zetsu lacked: possession and control. He could possess others and take control of them, while the controlled target would receive a tremendous enhancement, roughly equivalent to gaining the power boost of an ordinary tailed beast.
For Madara Uchiha, now all alone, Tobi was undoubtedly his strongest general.
Therefore, in order to let Tobi wield his greatest strength, Madara Uchiha carried out some yokai transformation on him and prepared to capture a powerful Servant for Tobi
