In the real world, Naruto felt conflicted when he saw Konoha being destroyed.
He was annoyed, but also upset. Anger filled his heart, yet he had no idea how to vent it.
Though he was always at odds with his best friend, Sasuke still keenly noticed something was off with Naruto and asked, "What's wrong, idiot? Why are you suddenly in such a bad mood? Are you upset that Pain destroyed Konoha?"
"Yeah, that really is pretty irritating."
Naruto: "...I'm not angry because Pain destroyed Konoha. It's just... how do I put this... Seeing Pain say that all this pain came from the great nations, from Konoha, really pisses me off."
"Especially those flashback scenes where the ninjas from several major ninja villages fought in the Land of Rain, dragging countless innocent people into the war and getting them killed or injured. It made me feel awful."
"It's this frustrating feeling where I want to get angry, but I don't know who I should take it out on."
Hearing Naruto's words, Sasuke raised an eyebrow and looked at him in surprise. "You actually have such profound thoughts?"
Naruto shot Sasuke an annoyed glance. "What exactly do you think I am?"
Sasuke: "A hot-blooded idiot."
Naruto: "Bastard Sasuke, you wanna fight?"
Sasuke: "Who's afraid of who? Once we're done watching the Light Screen footage, let's spar!"
Naruto: "Sasuke, you bastard!"
Immediately, Naruto had no time to feel sad anymore. His full attention shifted to trading barbs with Sasuke.
Beside them, Minato Namikaze watched the exchange and smiled faintly, giving Sasuke a grateful look. He could tell Sasuke had done it deliberately, so Naruto would not sink into pointless grief and inner turmoil.
After all, while what had happened in the Light Screen footage was indeed infuriating, it had happened in another
