Seeing Void Archives' attitude and the way he spoke, countless people had their PTSD from dealing with riddlers triggered. They badly wanted to punch that bastard in the face.

Likewise, whenever the matter involved the supernatural, concepts such as "artifact spirit," "animals transforming into humans," and "anthropomorphized divine artifacts" naturally came to mind.
Never underestimate humanity's imagination. Situations like this were perfectly normal in fantasy stories and not nearly surprising enough to draw much reaction.
