The Poyas Star Domain fell under the jurisdiction of the Douglas Family, one of the Human Federation's great military clans. This enormous family controlled thirty percent of the Federation's arms manufacturing and held tremendous influence even within the council. Through their brilliant methods, they had demonstrated that economic control, when properly wielded, was no less effective than control through violence.
Poyas Family members regarded themselves as superior because of their family's glory, and they had committed no shortage of acts such as bullying the weak and throwing their weight around. Coupled with the region's abundance of heavy industry and its exceptionally developed industrial and commercial sectors, quite a few interstellar pirates could be found along the edges of the star domain.
The Undead Pirate Crew was one of the stronger pirate groups at the edge of the Poyas Star Domain. Yet at that moment, its captain, Moro, stared uncertainly at the youth drifting across the screen before him.
