Behind the Marauders, Reapers and Siege Tanks followed close behind. As the variety of units grew, the human faction gained an ever firmer grasp on the battle.
The Reapers had already undergone several evolutions. The jetpacks on their backs had been upgraded into miniature spacetime converters. Once activated, they could zip to anywhere within a thousand meters. Most terrifyingly, these miniature spacetime converters could be activated in rapid succession.
In other words, after their first teleport, they needed only one second before they could teleport again. This made the Reapers equipped with C-18 bombs true harvesters of life!
The moment they joined the battle line, silver flashes flickered amid the dense Zerg swarm. Over a thousand Reapers appeared within layers of encircling Zerg. Then, before the Zerglings could launch a coordinated assault, they turned into white light once more and vanished in an instant.
"Rumble..." The C-18 bombs they left behind exploded, directly stirring up a terrifying shockwave storm amid the swarm. Within a hundred-meter radius, more than a dozen Zerglings were instantly blasted to pieces, while fifty or sixty more were left covered in wounds...
Once the Siege Tanks deployed, the Zergling army immediately suffered a savage bombardment. A deployed Siege Tank was like a massive cannon mounted atop a bunker. With one shot, over a hundred Zerglings were sent flying through the entire swarm. Fortunately, their numbers were limited and their firing rate was not fast. Otherwise, there would have been no need for any other combat units in this battle.
The favorable battle situation steadily raised the soldiers' morale, but Koski and Apri aboard the
