At the very center of the royal palace in Oceanic, capital of the Seadrinkers, Acting Queen Amira walked step by step toward the room in the deepest part of the palace. Along the way, only her footsteps echoed through the dim corridor, and the flickering lights in the empty hall stretched her shadow long and twisted.

At the end of the corridor, an ice-sealed door slowly opened. Cold air that had been locked away for centuries surged out like a tide, instantly frosting Amira's golden hair. But Amira paid it no mind and simply stepped into the frost-covered great hall.

Inside the hall were all kinds of ornate, precious decorations, but they were all covered in a thick layer of frost.
