Background

Lu Qiming initially wants a Mage class, but the system grants him the Assassin inheritance instead. Despite doubting whether its immense physical reinforcement suits an Assassin, he accepts the class and begins using it to survive in Orario 2.

His first world quest requires him to eliminate one million eligible targets within 364 days. Failure does not kill him, but prevents him from traveling to other worlds or unlocking additional classes; he therefore registers as an adventurer and enters the Dungeon despite having no Familia blessing 3.

His extreme rate of growth makes him a rumor in Orario. Adventurers identify him by his black hair, black eyes, dual black short swords, and the silver-white stainless steel basin he wears on his head. After soloing the 17th Floor boss Goliath and saving adventurers during the resulting monster riot, he becomes known as an unaffiliated powerhouse 21 22.

Across later worlds, Lu Qiming accumulates numerous professions, develops divinity, and repeatedly advances his Profession Tree. His pursuit of class growth eventually leads him to consume the elemental power of the Fairy Tail world and complete the Profession Tree’s fourth stage 370 399.

Lu Qiming is a black-haired, black-eyed young man with slender, fair hands. In his early Orario period, he is most recognizable for wearing a silver-white stainless steel basin on his head and carrying two black short swords 2 8 21.

Lu Qiming is highly adaptable. Although disappointed at receiving an Assassin class instead of a Mage class, he quickly embraces its advantages and commits himself to completing the one-million-target quest 2 3.

In battle, he can become manic, bloodthirsty, and openly amused by slaughtering monsters. This behavior earns him the nickname “Berserker Senior,” despite his actual Assassin class 7 21. He consciously decides that ruthlessness is necessary to survive, though his violence is not limited to self-defense in later arcs 7 152 276.

Outside combat, he can be generous, protective, and unexpectedly considerate. He rescues endangered adventurers, compensates people for damage caused by his attacks, gives Valis to Aili and Ailin, helps Hestia settle her debt, and supports Bell and Liliruca’s growth 19 27 78 96 108.
