Lu Qiming welcomed Lucy to Fairy Tail, where Makarov’s speech convinced her she had found the guild she wanted to join. After Kanna used Gender Transformation Magic on Happy in an attempt to make him lay eggs, Lu Qiming explained that Happy could not lay eggs because he was an Exceed from another world.

• Lu Qiming introduced himself and Makarov to Lucy, and Makarov welcomed her to Fairy Tail.
• Makarov scolded the guild members for their misdeeds, burned the Council’s complaints, and urged them to follow their own path as mages.
• Lucy joined the guild, and Lu Qiming stamped a pink guild emblem onto her arm.
