Lu Qiming tortured and subdued the Sun God Helios, then questioned him about gods who possessed Solar Divinity. Helios named his sisters Eos and Selene, and Lu Qiming released Ariel from the Mermaid Tribe Crown.

• Divine Judgment wounded Helios and absorbed his Divine Blood while Lu Qiming stopped them from killing him.

• Lophis invited Dawn Goddess Eos and Moon Goddess Selene to Helios's Divine Kingdom, and Eos agreed to go with her sister.

• Hakutaku Keine told Fujiwara Mokou that she had come to Gensokyo to escape the outside world’s fading Spiritual Energy and record its unknown future.
• Mokou visited Keine’s schoolhouse, where Sakura arrived with Hua Yi and reunited with Mokou; Mokou gave Hua Yi a pearl as a greeting gift.
• Lu Qiming returned after Klee finished absorbing the Godhead and gathered everyone for a banquet at the Hakurei Shrine.

• At Hakurei Shrine’s feast, Lu Qiming told Yuyuko he had one last thing to do before leaving Gensokyo.
• The next morning, Lu Qiming and Klee put away Klee’s Fusang Divine Tree and then her Divine Kingdom, causing Gensokyo to fall into darkness.
• Mystia rushed to Hakurei Shrine to report the missing sun, but Cirno gave her wine and she passed out before finishing.

Lu Qiming caused Gensokyo’s sun to vanish so he could stage one last incident before leaving, drawing Kagome and the others into battle. The fighting began across Gensokyo as Lu Qiming faced Kagome, Yuuka Kazami fought Klee and Divine Judgment, and A-Yin and Fan Yu confronted the Four Heavenly Kings of the Oni Tribe.

• Mistina reported that Klee’s True Body and the sun had vanished, and Yukari Yakumo deduced that Lu Qiming had caused it.
