May: Please Vote with Monthly Tickets

Ahem, ahem. Fellow cultivators with monthly tickets, don't forget to cast them.

Last month, I updated more than 210,000 words. Sometimes it wasn't that I didn't want to hammer out more chapters—if I really wanted to pad things out, it would be easy. Even a simple plot point could easily be stretched by several thousand words.

I had been writing full-time for exactly four years now, and I had never missed an update.

This book had been running for a year and had already surpassed three million words. The protagonist had already smuggled his way into the Spirit Realm. Attentive fellow cultivators should have noticed that whenever the story switched to a new major map, most authors got stuck early on and wrote more slowly.

As the Spirit Realm arc's map gradually unfolded and the story slowly entered its finest stretch, writing would become smoother.

Enough nonsense. The May Day holiday had arrived, so I wished all fellow cultivators a happy holiday.

(Of course, most ordinary fellow cultivators were probably like me and had no holiday at all. At the same time, I wished everyone and myself the strength to keep working hard—not asking for a nine-to-five life, only hoping that one day we could enjoy holidays with time off.)
