The Human Realm arc was now coming to an end. Starting in July, I would officially begin preparing to launch the Spirit Realm arc. Since there had already been some groundwork laid, the start of the Spirit Realm arc would not have too much needless chatter.

To be honest, before writing this book, I truly had not expected to keep at it for so long. I owed it all to the support of all you fellow Daoists along the way.

The protagonist would formally embark on the road to Spirit Transformation. The Spirit Realm arc had a rough outline. After all, when it came to writing novels, having even a rough outline was already pretty good. Settings, details, and such were all filled in as I wrote.

Many readers had said that out of ten mortal-cultivation novels, nine started falling apart after reaching Spirit Transformation—especially in the Spirit Realm arc. I had previously agonized over this issue as well and studied it carefully.

That was why I had secretly slipped into the Spirit Realm earlier and laid some groundwork. This way, once we formally ascended to the Spirit Realm, you fellow Daoists would not find it too unfamiliar.

I also quietly breathed a sigh of relief. At the very least, there would not be too great a sense of disconnection.
