When they arrived at the scene, they found that police vehicles had completely surrounded the area, with a wide perimeter of caution tape set up around it.

Numerous criminal investigators and forensic examiners were busily gathering evidence at the scene. Clearly, what had happened here had been completely exposed.

The group concealed themselves and slipped into the scene, where they saw a triangular pit roughly one meter in diameter in the middle of the road, already covered and filled with scrap-metal wreckage.

But what drew their attention most was not the pit, but the scattered chunks of corpses beside it, marked out with white lime.

A group of people dressed in what looked like research uniforms were carefully collecting the fragments and placing them into specialized isolation bags.

"It's the seven demons. They were actually killed!" Quirk exclaimed in a lowered voice.

"The wounds on their bodies are identical. They were all killed by the same kind of power," Budiman said after examining them closely. "Someone capable of this is probably far stronger than us—perhaps even at the level of the Goat-Man Devil!"

"Could the Goat-Man Devil have done it?" Jeff guessed.

"Impossible." Budiman immediately dismissed the idea. "It shouldn't have arrived here yet. And if it had discovered our actions at the time, it would never have let us leave before killing these demons."

"Then who was it?" Quirk's voice was full of shock.

The others looked at one another, but no one could offer an answer.

Budiman closed his eyes and carefully sensed the traces in the air. "I can't sense any soul fragments from the middle-aged man here. His scent disappeared, but he didn't die here."

Two slender spider legs slowly emerged from Anita's back.
